Birdie is not quite adoptable yet, but she is getting there!
She was born approximately 10/2018 and we are guessing she is a border collie mix, though she is quite the mutt!
Birdie came to us from the Humboldt County Animal Shelter where she was extremely fearful and failing to come out of her shell at all. When we started spending time with her, it became obvious that she likely had no interaction with humans prior to coming to the shelter. She was living as a stray in Maple Creek, as was actually trapped by accident! No one even knew there was a dog out there. Birdie is making improvements much quicker than expected and is a very smart little pup! She still has a ways to go until she can go up for adoption, but right now she is enjoying being showered with love and learning how to be a family member.
